information you need, about the kind of disabilities that affect

links to other organisations that can help. Fact Sheets
and reports for parents and carers These were
produced alongside the Audit Commission's publication of the
report
'Services for disabled children', that looks at how local services
provide
for disabled children, young people and their families in England
and
Wales. The study finds
that: there is a lottery of provision, depending on where you live;
service
provision is rarely based on the individual needs of families; and
families
have to go through a maze of services to get essential
information.
It concludes that to improve the situation, the following need to
be
achieved:
